AGRI ECOTOURISM

Our Strategy

We finance green growth through agri ecotourism for sustainable agriculture and land degradation neutrality in Meghalaya, North East India.

Our Aim

We attract travellers who want to care for the places they visit while learning about the unique cultural and ecological landscapes of Meghalaya.

We welcome tourists, corporate getaway clienteles, private events, domestic and international research scholars, leadership camps, and health and well being retreats.

Our Project

We are developing a pilot project for a combined self-sustaining Ecovillage Resort and Agroforestry Farm that is partly funded by revenue streams coming from tourism, leisure and hospitality.

This is a project that we can replicate to create a network of these agri ecotourist destinations across the North East Region of India and beyond.

Our Operation

We offer bespoke sustainable holiday packages that immerse travellers with local indigenous communities in their cultural and ecological landscapes.

We give our customers the opportunity to see their holiday budget contribute to restoring damaged ecosystems and offsetting their travel emissions by taking part in learning how to plant native food crop and tree species.

OUR AGRI ECOTOURS

Day 1

You will be picked up from Guwahati airport and proceed to our Agroforestry Project site at Sakra Farm. Here is the basis of our journey, where you can partake in planting trees to improve the agri-eco status of this region.

You will be able to view the Blossom Honey Project based at the Sainhun Farm, home to 20 scientific bee keeping boxes to harvest organic honey.

After lunch and local refreshments provided on the farm, we head back onto the road making our way to Shillong. You will check into your accommodation where you will be free to relax or explore at your leisure.
