How to Book?

Booking: Please email us at [email protected] for booking enquiry, and we will confirm the Farm Stay availability with you directly.

If you want to book for our bespoke Agri Ecotourism adventures, please let us know how many days you would like from 1 to 5 to explore the 5 different destinations that we are offering to our travelers.

Booking confirmation and advance: To confirm your booking, we will require a 100% advance payment for the booking. We do this because we want to ensure that once our Far Stay are booked, they are immediately confirmed and we will refuse other subsequent bookings for the flats that you have booked.

Once booking is confirmed, you will need to fill a form.

Mode of payment: You can make an online transfer to our account and send us an email with the transaction reference number. We will provide you a confirmation once we receive the payment in our account.

Cancellation and Refund: 

75% refund if you cancel 20 days prior to the date for which the rooms are booked.

50% refund if you cancel your booking within 7 days.

No refund if you cancel your booking within 48 hours.

Refund will be made through cheque only.

Direction to Spring Valley Farm

From Mawlai:

  • En route from Guwahati, when you enter Mawlai along the G S Road, you can take a left turn at T-junction where you see Stanley Roy Construction Mahindra Showroom (on your left).
  • Proceed to Mawlai Mawdatbaki.
  • Take the left round turn to Mawroh.
  • Cross the Mawroh Presbyterian Church on your left and proceed till you see the small round circle road just after the SBI ATM on your right.
  • Go straight towards Golf Links pass the Police Training School and then turn left at the next junction heading towards the Mawpat Road to goes to NEIGRIHMS Hospital.
  • Go straight up the hill on the Mawpat Road towards Langkyrding and take the 2nd left from the top of the hill heading down to towards the BSF Camp.
  • Cross the small bridge and turn left on the small concrete road. Spring Valley Farm is roughly nearly 100 metres away and is directly opposite the BSF Camp.

From Police Bazar:

  • Hire a taxi* or take the SPTS bus^ (whichever is convenient) to Langkyrding Mawpat Road. Give the names of the landmarks given in the map. Basically you should pass through Polo Bazar area, then to the Golf Links. You will pass by the Shillong Golf Club on your left and reach the junction where the road goes in between the golf course. Go straight on the right side of the road that slopes downwards.
  • Go straight up the hill on the Mawpat Road towards Langkyrding and take the 2nd left from the top of the hill heading down to towards the BSF Camp.
  • Cross the small bridge and turn left on the small concrete road. Spring Valley Farm is roughly nearly 100 metres away and is directly opposite the BSF Camp.

*If you hire the taxi, it can cost Rs.200-250 from Police Bazar to Spring Valley Farm.

^The maroon colour Shillong Public Transport Service (SPTS) bus is a cheaper alternative.

Understanding

Spring Valley Farm is a residential property in a quiet neighbourhood. It is a place to enjoy peace of mind and relaxation. It is also a place for meaningful interaction and reflection. We therefore request guests and visitors to respect and maintain this atmosphere.

Spring Valley Farm offers simple but comfortable accommodation. Local simple food is available. Breakfast is complimentary and meals (lunch/dinner) can be prepared if requested at least 8 hours in advance. We expect mutual respect, for person and property. We treat our staff very much like family and ask that our clients treat them likewise.

We request guests to be conscious of energy usage, and to:

  • Turn off the light switch when you leave the room or sleep.
  • Turn off the geyser switch and other power switches in the room after use.
  • Close the water taps properly before you leave or after use.
  • Ensure the toilet flush button has properly reset after use so that there is no continuous leaking of water.
